Neighbors Paper is owned and distributed by the wonderful Tom King. This great little paper is free and available throughout Eastern Connecticut. Tom previously had a CMS based site that confusing and not flexible enough. We kept his hosting with the same company but did an overhaul on the site, switching it to a WordPress CMS. Now updating the site is not only faster but easier, too. And we both think it looks better now. 🙂
The Northeaset Connecticut Farmers Markets are farmers markets held most days of every week, Spring through Fall. That’s a lot of opportunity to get FRESH LOCAL food! They are organized and attended by an amazing group of farmers in the “Quiet Corner” of Connecticut.
Northeast Connecticut Farmers’ Markets are open in Danielson, Putnam, Brooklyn and Plainfield from June through October. Local farmers offer their own fruit, vegetables, and flowering plants for sale, freshly picked, often just before the market opens.
Visit their website, but even better go see them at the Markets!
Ross Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Rick Ross. This site used to be a “static html” site that I built for them using Dreamweaver. But when they moved and needed their address and some content updated, I took the opportunity to convert the site to WordPress. I think my favorite part of this site is the testimonials, because he is a very talent physical therapist, and this part of the site really makes that apparent to visitors. At this point, I do most of the content updates to the site when needed, but as a CMS site, they are able to make changes as well.
