The Town of Chaplin’s website was built in collaboration with my friends over at Logistics Consulting. Ben and Jessica are a crack team. Great attention to detail and all the technical skills you need to make ur website work for you. This site was built using the Joomla CMS, so the client can update the site themselves. Joomla is a very powerful CMS platform with high powered plugins for managing events, online purchases, calendars, and more. Most people find that Joomla takes a little more time to learn how to use.

The Healthy Alternative Market is owned and operated by my clients Heidi and Sara Zelonka. Their store is located in Storrs/Mansfield, CT. They wanted a simple website that would integrate the logo that had been designed by their graphic artist and convey basic information about their store.

“The Healthy Alternative is dedicated to bring you organic, natural foods including vegan and the most extensive selection of gluten free products in the area. We carry grains, juices, baking products, cheese, local eggs, fresh Bell & Evans chicken and much more.” And if you are looking for gluten-free things, you should definitely stop in and see what they have! Woodstock Hill Preserves is owned and operated by my client, Maureen Estony.  Maureen is a great example of an independent, do-it-yourself client. I set up her WordPress based site, mostly by integrating her existing business logo into a simple template.  She does the rest – even added a shopping cart to the site herself.

Visit the Woodstock Hill Preserves website.

Did you know that there are WordPress apps that will let you update your website from your iPhone, Android phone or iPad? It certainly gives a business owner on the go a lot of flexibility.

Neighbors Paper is owned and distributed by the wonderful Tom King. This great little paper is free and available throughout Eastern Connecticut. Tom previously had a CMS based site that confusing and not flexible enough. We kept his hosting with the same company but did an overhaul on the site, switching it to a WordPress CMS.  Now updating the site is not only faster but easier, too.  And we both think it looks better now. 🙂
